The national airline, Maldivian, has announced that it will increase its flight frequency to Trivandrum and Cochin, India, to six days a week starting December 13, and has now opened ticket bookings for these additional flights. Under this new schedule, the airline will operate flights on Sundays, a day on which it does not currently fly to these destinations. While Maldivian already operates scheduled flights to seven destinations across four international countries, the airline is continuously working to further expand its international flight network.
