During the session held in New York, Danon launched personal attacks against UN officials, characterizing them as being biased against Israel.
In response, UN officials maintained that there is credible evidence regarding the atrocities committed by Israel. This confrontation was triggered by a report released by Patten, which listed Israel among countries that commit grave violations against children during armed conflict, exposing various inhumane acts. While Israel continues to reject the findings of the report, it has also been noted that the country is actively obstructing UN investigations.
