During the official ceremony commemorating the 132nd anniversary of the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu officially inaugurated the “School of Engineering and Logistics” under the MNDF Service Corps. Established in B. Kihaadhoo, this institution marks the first center of its kind in the Maldives dedicated to enhancing the technical proficiency and academic capabilities of military personnel.
Under the “Dhivehi Vathanee Khidhumath” (Maldivian National Service) project, 65 students are currently enrolled in four-month Level 3 courses covering fields such as Automobile Engineering, Marine Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Beyond providing technical vocational training, a core objective of the school is to cultivate discipline, strengthen religious awareness, and foster a deep sense of patriotism, aimed at building a responsible generation dedicated to national service.
