First Lady Sajidha Mohamed graced the ceremony held to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the National Cardiac Centre at IGMH. During the event, the First Lady officially unveiled the center’s new identity and logo. Since its establishment in 2016, the center has developed into a regionally recognized facility, providing 24-hour emergency cardiac services and a comprehensive range of diagnostic tests. The center’s success has significantly reduced the necessity for Maldivians to travel abroad for specialized heart treatment, leading to a consistent rise in the number of patients seeking local care.
