In the wake of the current monsoon rains affecting the Maldives, Gan in Addu City recorded the highest rainfall over the past 24 hours, with 183 millimeters of precipitation. Significant rainfall was also observed in GDh. Thinadhoo and K. Hulhule. The heavy downpour caused widespread flooding across the islands of Addu City, specifically impacting over 30 houses in Feydhoo. Relevant authorities are currently engaged in flood mitigation efforts and providing emergency assistance and temporary shelter to those affected by the adverse weather.
