Fenaka Corporation’s Managing Director, Mohamed Afief Hussain, has stated that the company has suffered significant and irreparable losses due to the previous management’s disregard for established procurement protocols. The Managing Director highlighted that prior practices prioritized personal interests over quality standards, leading to several challenges, including the acquisition of expensive counterfeit parts and the constant need for repetitive repairs.
As these issues have directly hindered the provision of essential services to the public, the company has now initiated efforts to eliminate corruption risks and strengthen its procurement policies. Under the guidance of the President, these reforms include establishing a streamlined system to proactively source and stockpile necessary spare parts and equipment to ensure service continuity.
