In response to recent incidents involving children falling from high-rise buildings in Hulhumalé Phase II, the Fadhuna Dhivehi Corporation (FDC) has launched a specialized safety survey at the Aman Udhares and Aman Dhoadhi towers to ensure the security of their residents. The primary objective of this assessment is to identify apartments inhabited by children and persons with disabilities, facilitating the implementation of necessary safety enhancements. During the initiative, FDC Managing Director Hamdan Shakeel visited the towers to engage with residents and address their safety concerns. Furthermore, the corporation has decided to conduct awareness sessions in collaboration with the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), focusing on fire safety protocols and emergency preparedness.
