In the Friday sermon delivered on the theme “Loving the Noble Prophet,” it was emphasized that the Prophet Muhammad ï·º is the beacon of mercy sent by Allah to deliver all of humanity from the darkness and tyranny of the age of ignorance. He is the leader of all prophets and the first to enter Paradise. Therefore, faith is not perfected unless one loves him more than oneself, one’s spouse, and children, and actively champions his Sunnah. The sermon further highlighted that just as there have always been those who mocked the messengers throughout history, Allah granted victory to the Prophet ï·º against such hostility. It is an obligatory duty upon every Muslim to defend him. The greatest evidence of loving the Prophet ï·º is to fully adhere to his biography (Seerah) and his exemplary character.
