President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that the Maldives Police Service has been successfully reformed, effectively eliminating the detrimental influence of narcotics that previously existed within the institution.
Speaking on the ‘Pulse’ podcast, the President highlighted that the systemic vulnerabilities which previously allowed for corruption and misconduct within drug enforcement operations have now been effectively closed. He further noted that the administration’s strategic efforts to tackle gang-related crimes and drug trafficking are producing positive outcomes. President Muizzu reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to continuously empowering national institutions to safeguard the nation from the scourge of drugs.
