The newly appointed High Commissioner of Namibia to the Maldives, His Excellency Alex L. Tukuhoverua, presented his credentials to President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu today.
Following the credentials ceremony, both parties engaged in discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in key sectors, including tourism, trade, fisheries, and healthcare. Furthermore, the President and the High Commissioner explored opportunities for the exchange of technical expertise and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing diplomatic ties between the two nations.
Diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Namibia were officially established in 1990.
