Minister of Homeland Security and Technology, Ali Ihsan, has stated that all issues lodged with the Labor Relations Authority (LRA) will be reviewed with integrity to ensure just and fair resolutions. Speaking at the Workers’ Day march, the Minister emphasized that the government’s primary objective is to guarantee a safe and dignified environment for all workers. Furthermore, he highlighted that this year marks the full implementation of crucial legislations, such as the Industrial Relations Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act, noting that workers remain the backbone of the Maldivian economy.
