The newly appointed Ambassador of the Maldives to the United Arab Emirates, Thoriq Ibrahim, has formally presented his credentials to the UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, both parties discussed further strengthening the bilateral relations between the two nations and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in key sectors, such as environmental sustainability and tourism. Ambassador Thoriq, who has previously served in various ministerial capacities, was appointed to the post following the tenure of his predecessor, Mohamed Hussain Shareef.
