The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has officially opened registration for all retail outlets across the Maldives to join the “Agumagu” portal—an initiative designed to ensure essential food items are accessible to the public at competitive prices. Through this portal and the newly launched mobile application, consumers can now easily monitor product prices and stock availability in shops across both Male’ and the atolls. Businesses can register via agumagu.trade.gov.mv. This platform provides a centralized view of the lowest and average market prices, as well as price fluctuations observed over the past 10 days.
