The Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mohamed Saeed, has paid a courtesy call on the President of Sri Lanka, Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who is currently on an official visit to the Maldives. During the meeting held at Kurumba Maldives, the main focus was on strengthening the economic and trade relations between the two countries. Additionally, discussions were held on strategic collaboration between the two nations in the changing international business environment.
In addition to the Economic Minister, senior officials from the ministry participated in this meeting. During the Sri Lankan President’s two-day visit to the Maldives, high-level consultative meetings have been held with relevant parties to enhance business and economic ties.
