Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) has stated that residents of the 4,000 flats developed in the second phase of Hulhumalé will receive subsidy benefits if they pay their rent before the 10th of each month. In a press release, FDC said that the agreements for the 4,000 housing units developed in the second phase of Hulhumalé are formulated in accordance with Sharia principles. According to this agreement, if the monthly rent and maintenance fee are paid before the 10th day of each month, the tenant will receive a 100% subsidy benefit, FDC stated. The company also shared how the subsidy percentage will change if the monthly rent is paid after the 10th day of the month.
If the monthly rent is paid before the 16th day of the month, a 75% subsidy benefit will be received. If paid before the 21st day of the month, a 50% subsidy will be given, according to the company. If the rent is paid before the 26th day of the month, a 25% subsidy will be provided, while payments made after the 26th day will not include any subsidy benefit, FDC stated.
FDC also mentioned that under the agreement, if the monthly rent and subsidy are not paid by the end of the month, the company has the right to send a 30-day written notice to the tenant requesting payment.
Security deposit amounts:
• 2-bedroom apartment: MVR 15,000
• 3-bedroom apartment: MVR 25,000
Monthly rent and maintenance fee amounts:
• 2-bedroom apartment: Rent MVR 7,000, Maintenance fee MVR 1,000
• 3-bedroom apartment: Rent MVR 9,000, Maintenance fee MVR 1,500
The signing of agreements for the 4,000 housing units developed in the second phase of Hulhumalé has now begun. This project includes 6 towers of Amaan Hiyaa and 6 towers of Amaan Dhodhi. Among these, 2,800 housing units are 3-bedroom apartments. These apartments are being handed over after the completion of finishing works.
