As preparations are underway to open the new terminal of Velana International Airport on the 26th of this month, all staff members of the company are actively participating in this work. In the company, which employs approximately 5000 individuals, work is ongoing 24 hours a day, with teams divided into various shifts.
The company’s Human Resources team has taken the initiative to organize activities aimed at increasing employee involvement and motivation in the opening of the new terminal. To this end, initiatives have been launched to heighten enthusiasm, involving visits to various departments with diverse activities, including drum performances, to boost work excitement among staff. Additionally, quizzes related to VIA’s history and the new terminal’s work are also being conducted as part of these activities.
Employees are also signing a pledge to ensure the VIA new terminal project progresses in line with the company’s vision. Furthermore, social media activities are also being carried out as part of this initiative. As the final preparations for the commencement of services at VIA’s new terminal are underway, dedicated teams have been formed for various tasks. These efforts are being guided by the specially established “ORAT” team.
The new VIA terminal is designed to provide services to 7 million passengers annually. Preparations are ongoing to hold a grand opening ceremony for the terminal.
