In recognition of the invaluable support and assistance rendered to the Maldives by the late former Emir of Qatar, His Highness Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has ordered the Maldivian national flag to be flown at half-mast. The flag will remain at half-mast from noon today until noon tomorrow as a mark of respect and appreciation. President Dr. Muizzu has departed for Qatar to attend the funeral services of the late Emir.
