
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the National Cardiac Centre, Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem, CEO of the Male’ City Group of Hospitals, announced initiatives to broaden the center’s services and ensure the availability of all cardiac-related treatments. Key objectives include introducing cardiac surgery at a national level, strengthening services across the atolls, and enhancing the quality of care through the integration of digital health and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Furthermore, the government’s strategic vision encompasses the creation of a national registry for cardiac patients, human resource development, and advancing research through collaborations with international organizations. Under the guidance of President Dr. Muizzu, this endeavor aims to establish a sustainable and holistic healthcare system that ensures patient safety through the utilization of modern facilities.
