He further underscored that in an archipelagic nation like the Maldives, maintaining a sustainable blood supply is essential for emergency preparedness and for supporting patients who require regular blood transfusions. Additionally, the President reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting public awareness and encouraging a culture of voluntary blood donation across the country.
