Following the successful implementation of the Southern Atolls connectivity project, the Government, in collaboration with Island Aviation Services, has officially commenced efforts to link the three northernmost atolls—Haa Alif, Haa Dhaalu, and Shaviyani—via air travel. In light of the significant public support received for the southern regional routes, the government aims to complete the integration of these northern atolls into the network by the end of this year. This initiative marks a crucial step in the ongoing efforts to strengthen domestic aviation and streamline the national transportation system for greater public convenience.
