In a congratulatory message sent on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu highlighted the significant strengthening of trade and bilateral relations between the two countries in recent years. While commending the progress and achievements Azerbaijan has attained since gaining independence, the President expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation across various sectors. Diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Azerbaijan were formally established in 2006.
