
Minister of Tourism Ibrahim Faisal has stated that the number of tourists arriving in the Maldives is increasing, with daily arrivals now averaging over 5,000. Despite a temporary decline in arrivals due to flight cancellations resulting from tensions in the Middle East, the government’s proactive efforts are now yielding positive results. The Minister highlighted that specialized marketing campaigns are being conducted in collaboration with airlines to promote tourism. Furthermore, he noted that the government has ensured the uninterrupted supply of essential resources, such as fuel, to the resorts.
