The newly developed Emergency Room (ER) at Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital has been officially inaugurated by the First Lady, Sajidha Mohamed. This modern facility, equipped with six beds and contemporary medical resources, is designed to ensure that patients arriving via ambulance receive immediate care without delay. Furthermore, as part of the ongoing project to upgrade the hospital to tertiary standards, a contract has already been awarded for the construction of an even larger, more comprehensive ER facility to cater to the growing needs of the region.
