The Government has announced the development of a state-of-the-art bowling arena within Male’ City’s Industrial Village, integrated with comprehensive family entertainment facilities. President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has disclosed that the project is scheduled to commence during the second quarter of this year.
The proposed facility will feature a 10-lane bowling alley, alongside a gaming arcade, a children’s play park, and a dedicated complex for futsal and netball. Designed as a two-story structure, the arena will also include a cafe and dedicated spaces for hosting private functions and events.
The government aims to complete the entire project within 540 days. In preparation for the physical work, the land has already been officially handed over to the Ministry of Sports, Fitness and Recreation, and the necessary budgetary allocations have been secured.
