President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu officially inaugurated the “Judicial Year 2026” this evening. This annual ceremony serves as a platform to evaluate the progress made over the past year and to establish strategic objectives for the further advancement of the judiciary in the upcoming year.
During the ceremony, commemorative plaques were presented to honorably retired judges and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional long-term service to the judicial sector. Furthermore, the Chief Justice delivered the annual Judicial Statement. This event, held annually, provides a significant opportunity for judges and judicial staff to convene and strengthen professional ties within the institution.
