The Maldives national team faced a 5-0 defeat against Nepal in their second match of the SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship. Nepal dominated the first half, securing a four-goal lead. However, the Maldives showed a marked improvement in the second half, creating several scoring opportunities. Despite the better performance, the only goal in the latter half was an unfortunate own goal by a Maldivian player. With two consecutive losses, the Maldives currently sits at the bottom of the table, while Nepal has moved to the top of the standings following their victory.
