President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has departed on a trip to the inhabited islands of Alif Dhaal Atoll. During this presidential trip, he will visit the inhabited islands of the atoll, meet with councils and Women’s Development Committees, and discuss the development needs and priorities of the people. Additionally, the President will meet with the residents of these islands and inquire about their well-being.
On this trip, the President is scheduled to visit 10 inhabited islands of Alif Dhaal Atoll. These include Dhangethi, Dhigurah, Dhidhdhoo, Fenfushi, Maamigili, Hangnaameedhoo, Omadhoo, Kunburudhoo, Mahibadhoo, and Mandhoo. This trip is part of a series of visits the President is undertaking to all atolls in the Maldives, meeting with atoll, island, and city councils.
Accompanying the President on this trip is a delegation consisting of some cabinet ministers and senior officials from various government institutions.
