
Several agreements for revolutionary projects aimed at transforming the development of F. Nilandhoo have been signed. These project agreements were signed during a meeting held by the President with the people of F. Nilandhoo. As part of the President’s ongoing tour of the atolls, a meeting was held with the residents of F. Nilandhoo, where agreements were signed for initiating passport services, establishing a fuel shed, road construction project, land reclamation for a canning factory and harbor development, and launching WAMCO services. The passport services in Nilandhoo were inaugurated by the Minister of Home Affairs, Arts and Culture, Ali Ihsan.
During this ceremony, an agreement was signed for establishing a fuel shed in Nilandhoo. On behalf of STO, Managing Director Shimad Ibrahim signed the agreement, while Manager Ummu Kulthoom signed on behalf of Ishan Investments. For the Nilandhoo road construction project, Minister Dr. Abdullah Muttalib signed on behalf of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure, and Ahmed Saudi, Managing Director, signed for MTCC. An agreement was also signed for the land reclamation and harbor development project for the canning factory in Nilandhoo. Minister Ahmed Shiyam signed on behalf of the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources, while Ahmed Saudi, Managing Director, signed for MTCC.
WAMCO has signed an agreement with the council to start its services in Nilandhoo. Mujtaba Jaleel signed on behalf of WAMCO, and Council President Ali Ahmed signed for the council. While the government is implementing numerous projects in F. Nilandhoo, similar development projects are being carried out across various regions of the Maldives. President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has assured that these projects will be initiated at a rapid pace and completed swiftly.
