As Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) prepares to begin handing over keys for the 4000 housing units developed in Hulhumalé Phase 2, they have announced that scheduling for key handovers will be done through the company’s portal and SMS. FDC has decided to start the process of handing over keys for units in Tower 14 from tomorrow. The company stated that they will initiate this work through the Fahi Portal and notify the flat recipients accordingly.
Providing information to PSM News, FDC said that the handover of housing units developed in Hulhumalé Phase 2 is planned to prioritize completed towers. As such, they will first hand over Tower 14 out of the 16 towers included in the Amaan Udaras project. FDC assures that when handing over these flats, water, electricity, and sewerage work for each tower will be completed. FDC stated that the first flats will be handed over to those who have been nominated by the Ministry of Housing, have signed the agreement, and have paid the security deposit.
So far, agreements have been signed with over 3000 people for the flats. The opportunity to pay the deposit has now been opened for these individuals. FDC said that their aim is to hand over the flats to the recipients as soon as possible.
