Midfielder Pedri was one of the players who described how Barcelona came from behind to win 3-2 against Levante in last night’s Spanish League match.
Levante scored the first two goals of this match in the first half. After that, Barcelona’s first goal was scored by Pedri in the 49th minute. The second goal was scored by Ferran Torres. The winning goal was an own goal by Levante players in extra time.
Speaking to journalists after the match, Pedri said that when they went to the changing room trailing by two goals, Coach Hansi Flick instructed them to get three points from the match by any means necessary.

“The coach said we need to get the three points from this match. He strongly emphasized that. The players focused on that in the second half,” Pedri said.
Barcelona came out for the second half with changes. Marc Casado was brought in from the middle, Marcus Rashford from the side, and Ronald Araujo and Balde were also substituted around the middle of the half. In their place, Gavi and Olmo, and later Robert Lewandowski and Andreas Christensen were brought on to strengthen Barcelona’s play.
“We appeared to be without enthusiasm in the first half. We looked very demoralized. In contrast, in the second half, the players played with determination to win. That’s how we won,” the coach said.
