
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has departed this morning on a trip to the inhabited islands of Alif Alif Atoll (North Ari Atoll). During this presidential trip, he will visit the inhabited islands of the atoll, meet with councils and women’s development committees, and discuss matters related to the development needs of these islands and the most desired issues of the residents.
During this three-day trip, he will meet with the residents of the atoll’s islands and assess their conditions. In his trip, it is scheduled to visit 8 inhabited islands of Alif Alif Atoll. These include visits to Thoddoo, Rasdhoo, Ukulhas, Mathiveri, Bodufolhudhoo, Feridhoo, Maalhos, and Himandhoo.
This trip is also part of the series of visits the President is undertaking to all atolls of the Maldives, meeting with atoll, island, and city councils. During the President’s trip, he is accompanied by some cabinet ministers and senior officials from various government institutions.
