Massive demonstrations have been held in Zionist Israeli settlements, calling for an immediate halt to the genocide against the people of Gaza and for an agreement to release the captives held by the ruling Hamas group in the city. On August 17, hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets to raise their voices against the government of the Zionist terrorist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The largest turnout was in the capital Tel Aviv and the occupied Jerusalem streets. About half a million people came out to the streets of Tel Aviv, calling for an end to Netanyahu’s genocide. They blocked roads and disrupted public transportation. Jewish police used force to stop them on Netanyahu’s brutal orders and violently arrested many Jews.
These are the largest protests held in Zionist Israeli settlements over the past two years against the Gaza genocide. Protesters went on strike, closing schools and businesses. They also locked cafes and restaurants. The protests were organized by the families of captives held by Hamas. Participants included labor unions, lawyers, doctors, and professors and students from Jerusalem universities. Opposition leader Yair Lapid and former Defense Minister in Netanyahu’s cabinet, Yoav Gallant, also participated in the protest.
The families of the captives believe that terrorist Netanyahu is not making serious efforts to free the captives. They believe his aim is to put the lives of the captives in danger. Without regard for the lives of the captives, the tyrannical (evil) Netanyahu has prioritized increasing the number of Muslims being martyred by Jewish forces. As such, he has begun to commit further crimes to colonize parts of Gaza City in the northernmost part of Gaza. He has increased the terrorist attacks on that city and started efforts to expel its residents. Hundreds of thousands of people are fleeing the city to the southern areas of Gaza to escape the terrorist attacks by Jewish forces. This is not the first time they have been forced to leave their homeland. This is an illegal crime that Netanyahu is committing in violation of international laws.
Protesters said that Netanyahu’s inhumane crimes are further endangering the lives of the captives. While it is believed that about 50 captives are under Hamas custody, the Jewish government acknowledges that the number of those still alive may be around 20. Hamas said that the captives under their custody died in terrorist attacks carried out by Jewish forces.
