Citing a report prepared by Guterres on the crimes being committed by Russian and Israeli forces, Reuters reported that the document specifically highlights the abuses inflicted on detainees. According to the newspaper, the report mentions several issues such as stripping prisoners naked in a manner that degrades human dignity and inflicting injuries to their genitals.
In the report submitted annually to the UN Security Council, Guterres has stated that Russia and the terrorist state of Israel might need to be included next year in the list of countries believed to systematd to systematically plan and commit rape and sexual violence. The report also mentions that this official warning was necessitated based on information gathered by various UN bodies about repeated sexual abuse and violence.
Furthermore, the report states that while the Israeli state provided some level of cooperation to UN representatives, they have not taken adequate measures to stop the ongoing sexual abuses or to take appropriate action against those who commit these crimes, despite receiving information about such incidents. In addition to the Israeli forces, the report also notes that Russia has not been cooperative with UN representatives.
