According to statistics on tourist arrivals from the past year, 58% of visitors to the Maldives were comprised of professionals and business entrepreneurs from various sectors. The Maldives Visitor Survey indicates that the highest number of business-related arrivals originated from India, the United States, Germany, and Spain. This highlights the Maldives’ significant appeal among high-income earners. While the country has welcomed over 1.1 million tourists so far this year, this figure includes a notable number of individuals traveling for business purposes.
