The massive land reclamation project in Th. Veymandoo has been successfully completed by MTCC in just 23 days. President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu announced the completion of the project, which has added 27 hectares of land to the island. Physical work on the project commenced in September, aimed at addressing the long-standing housing shortages and harbor constraints faced by the residents of Veymandoo. In addition to the land reclamation, the project also encompasses road construction and harbor development to further enhance the island’s infrastructure.
