The company generated a record revenue of MVR 32.54 million, the highest figure recorded in the past eight years. During this period, the Maldives welcomed over 2 million tourists, with tourism receipts reaching USD 5.57 billion—a substantial 16.4% increase compared to the previous year.
These milestones were achieved through strategic international marketing campaigns, robust partnerships, and the effective use of digital platforms to promote the Maldives globally. Furthermore, the Maldives secured the prestigious title of “World’s Leading Destination” at the World Travel Awards for the sixth consecutive year. The past year also saw the company rebranding as “Visit Maldives Corporation,” alongside the implementation of various measures to enhance corporate governance and operational efficiency.
