The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort has unveiled its curated culinary program for the 2026 edition of Marriott International’s “Luxury Dining Series,” themed “Across the Table.” This year’s event features seven influential culinary maestros, including the distinguished two-Michelin-starred Chef Emmanuel Stroobant from ‘Saint Pierre’ in Singapore. Joining him are acclaimed chefs from four St. Regis properties across Asia—Bangkok, Mumbai, Singapore, and Osaka. Together with the resident culinary experts at Vommuli Resort, these chefs will showcase a sophisticated fusion of contemporary and artistic Asian flavors.
To fully immerse in this experience, the resort offers the “Dine & Unwind” package, which includes a specially curated four-night stay. Guests will enjoy the signature St. Regis Butler Service while fostering connections and experiencing the unique charm of the destination in an exquisite setting. Below are the key highlights of the program:
August 27: The Art of Gathering
The journey commences at sunset with an exclusive wine-tasting session on the beach. Led by beverage expert Thomas Ling, this session explores the perfect harmony between flavors and fine wines. As evening falls, Bryan Gonzalez from St. Regis Bangkok will demonstrate his renowned mixology skills at ‘The Whale Bar.’ The night concludes with dinner at ‘Oriental’ restaurant, where Chef Chan Chung Shing of St. Regis Singapore and Chef Abdul Ahad Ahmed collaborate to present a selection of modern Japanese and Asian delicacies.
August 28: A Synergy of Wellness and Flavor
The day begins with a revitalizing breathing yoga session led by two-Michelin-starred Chef Emmanuel Stroobant, illustrating the profound connection between wellness and culinary philosophy. Following this, Chef Emmanuel and Vommuli Resort’s Executive Sous-Chef Ahmed Ozuzuju will host a special cooking class at ‘ALBA’ restaurant. The evening continues at ‘Cargo,’ where Master Chef Taj Mohammed Shah from St. Regis Mumbai will serve a “family-style” menu featuring authentic and rich Indian traditions.
August 29: Seasonal Palates and Culinary Artistry
At ‘T•Pan,’ Chef Takato Kitano from St. Regis Osaka will present a bespoke ‘Omakase’ lunch, blending Japanese precision with European culinary techniques. For dinner, ‘ALBA’ will host an exclusive four-course menu by Chef Emmanuel Stroobant. This high-end dining experience focuses on French cuisine reimagined with distinct Asian influences.
August 30: A Flavorful Farewell
The series concludes at ‘ALBA’ with a Mediterranean-style breakfast, providing a serene moment for guests to reflect on the memories and connections forged during the event.
