The second edition of “Masveringe Gunzaru” (Fishermen’s Forum) was held in Malé with 44 participants, aimed at gathering information and conducting consultations for the formulation of a sustainable management plan for recreational fishing.
Inaugurating the workshop, State Minister for Fisheries, Ismail Azmee Adnan, highlighted that the development of this globally growing sector is a high priority for President Dr. Muizzu. According to the Ministry of Fisheries, the insights gathered from this session will be crucial for managing the sector, enhancing service delivery, and planning future developmental projects.
