To mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Maldives and India, a special seminar was jointly organized by the Maldives National University (MNU) and the High Commission of India.
The seminar, graced by the High Commissioner of India, featured various presentations highlighting the enduring historical, cultural, and economic ties between the two nations. Key discussions focused on bilateral cooperation in education, healthcare, infrastructure development, and joint efforts in addressing climate change. The primary objective of the seminar was to celebrate six decades of close diplomatic partnership and to acknowledge the mutual assistance and cooperation shared across various sectors.
