Qatar Airways has decided to increase its weekly flight frequency to the Maldives from 12 to 21 flights, effective October 25. The government anticipates that this expansion will boost tourist arrivals from the Middle East, Europe, and the United States. Minister of Tourism Mohamed Ameen stated that collaborative efforts within the industry are expected to yield positive results in the final quarter of the year, noting that an additional seven airlines are scheduled to commence operations to the Maldives during this season.
