Under the government’s “Maldives 2.0” digital policy, Saeeda Umar, Managing Director of MindCo, has stated that public services will be decentralized to ensure greater accessibility for all citizens. This initiative will empower individuals to access essential services from any location, fostering a better work-life balance and strengthening family bonds.
Designed as a three-year strategic roadmap, this project aims to revolutionize state governance by implementing “smart” administrative solutions. Its core objectives include the eradication of corruption and the establishment of a transparent system focused on efficient service delivery. This transformative approach will transition from a fragmented island-based service model to a unified national network, enabling citizens to access comprehensive services with just a few clicks.
