Vilingili Constituency Member of Parliament, Mohamed Ismail, has severely criticized the “Dathivejje” (It’s Getting Difficult) protest organized by the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP). He highlighted that the failure of this protest, despite extensive promotion over several days, is a clear indication that the public has lost confidence in the three former presidents.
He further noted that citizens are well aware of how each of these leaders governed during their respective terms in office, asserting that the opposition’s motives do not align with the true interests of the people. Additionally, he emphasized that such movements directed against the current administration are receiving a lukewarm response from the general public.
