The “Eid Haviru” festivities, jointly organized by the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), state-owned enterprises, and various government institutions to mark the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, have received an overwhelming response from the public. Held across four key locations, the three-day celebrations are taking place at Republic Square in Malé, both phases of Hulhumalé, and Villimalé.
The event features a diverse range of activities tailored for all ages, including traditional games, cultural displays, and an exhibition of vehicles and equipment from the security forces. Conducted daily from 16:00 to 18:00, these festivities have become a highlight for families, offering a joyful and engaging environment for the community.
