Reports have emerged suggesting that the world-renowned football legend, Roberto Carlos, has embraced Islam. According to a member of the Turkish Parliament, Carlos converted four weeks ago in the presence of a senior Brazilian Sheikh. The 53-year-old former Christian is believed to have been influenced by his recent marriage to a Moroccan Muslim football agent. A 2002 World Cup winner and a highly decorated former Real Madrid player, Carlos is a father of eleven and currently serves as an ambassador for Real Madrid.
