The Parliament’s Foreign Relations Committee today granted approval for the appointment of former cabinet ministers Thoriq Ibrahim as the Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Adam Shareef Umar as the Ambassador to Qatar. The committee reached a unanimous decision to endorse the two nominees proposed by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, citing their extensive educational background and professional expertise. Consequently, the committee determined that further interviews were unnecessary. This recommendation will now be forwarded to the floor of the Parliament for final approval.
