
Road Development Corporation (RDC) has officially initiated the physical works for the modernization of seven roads in Th. Veymandoo under the Public Service Investment Program (PSIP). The project, covering a total of 3.99 kilometers, commenced today with the installation of cable junctions on the island’s main road.
Valued at MVR 86.7 million and scheduled for completion within a two-year timeframe, the scope of this project includes comprehensive road design, the establishment of efficient storm water drainage systems, asphalt paving, and the installation of street lighting.
