Under the Boduthakurufaanu Magu redevelopment project, MTCC has successfully completed the installation of the sewerage system for segments 2, 3, and 4. Current operations are focused on pavement construction, the installation of water and power grids, telecommunication cabling, and the implementation of a comprehensive stormwater drainage system.
Furthermore, 75 percent of the quay wall capping works have been finished. MTCC is working diligently to complete all ongoing components of these segments by the end of this month. Upon completion, the project will feature a dedicated parking zone in front of the Bank of Ceylon with a capacity for 500 motorcycles, complemented by extensive landscaping and greening initiatives along the area.
