The opportunity has been opened for those interested in participating in the selection process for the Asian Youth Games 2025. The Table Tennis Association of Maldives (TTAM) opened this opportunity yesterday, and those wishing to participate in this selection must register before 13:00 today. The Asian Youth Games will be held this year from October 26-30 in Bahrain. The team representing the Maldives in this tournament will consist of 3 female players and 3 male players.

Registration for competing in the Asian Youth Games is open to players born in 2009, 2010, and 2011 who are between 14-16 years old and who participated in the National Ranking held last June, according to TTAM. If more than 5 or 6 players from each category who participated in the National Ranking are taking part in the selection, priority will be given to players who competed in the main round of the Cadet, Junior, and Senior categories of the National Ranking held in June, as stated by TTAM.
