Special App “Hajji MV” Launched for Easy Access to Hajj and Umrah Information

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has introduced a special app to provide information about Hajj and Umrah. In a message shared with the media, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, stated that this application, named “Hajji MV,” is designed to easily access information related to Hajj and Umrah. The app was launched by the State Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Moosa Anwar Hassan.

The Minister said that the application includes features to keep track of dhikr (remembrance of Allah), tawaf (circumambulation of the Kaaba), and sa’i (walking between Safa and Marwa) counts, as well as supplications authenticated from the Quran and Sunnah. It also contains videos about Hajj and Umrah, along with videos about the Islamic history of Makkah and Madinah.

Highlighting that this is the first version of the app, Minister Dr. Shaheem mentioned that it will be further developed in the future. He added that the ministry’s goal is to make performing Hajj and Umrah easier.

The Minister also stated that all information included in “Hajji MV” has been approved by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs. He further added that with this app, people can access information related to Hajj and Umrah through their phones without the need for prayer books or books about Hajj and Umrah.
