A senior US officer has been dismissed from his position for heavily criticizing Jews, Jewish leaders, and US policies in the Middle East on social media using a fake account. Colonel Nathan McCormack, who served as the head of the Egypt and Levant Division under the Planning Directorate of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, had been severely criticizing Jews since October 7, 2023. In his posts, Colonel McCormack stated that the “cruel Jewish Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu” was working to colonize more lands and that Jews have been committing genocide for centuries. He also accused Western powers of not condemning Jewish actions due to shame over how they had treated Jews in the past. Additionally, he described Jews as murderers.
While holding a high position in the US military, Colonel McCormack heavily criticized US policies in the Middle East. He stated that the close relationship with Jews brought no benefit to the US and only resulted in hatred from Middle Eastern countries. He also noted that due to US actions, millions of people living in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia have developed hatred towards America.
Colonel McCormack was appointed to the position of head of the Egypt and Levant Division in June 2024. The fake account and Colonel McCormack’s comments were first exposed by a Jewish newspaper called the Jewish News Syndicate.”
